We collect only what we need to run the platform. This draft policy explains the categories of data we process and the rights you have. Final wording is pending legal review.

1. Data we collect

Account details (name, email, password hash), profile information you choose to publish, content you upload (startup data, documents, messages), and technical metadata (IP address, device, browser).

2. How we use your data

To operate the platform, match you with relevant opportunities, communicate service updates, secure your account, and comply with legal obligations.

3. Sharing

We share data with service providers (cloud hosting, email delivery, analytics) under contract, with other users only as the product surfaces (e.g. public profiles, listings), and with authorities when legally required.

4. Retention

We keep account and transaction data for as long as your account is active and for the period required by accounting and regulatory rules afterwards.

5. Your rights

You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your personal data. Contact privacy@venturepath.com to exercise these rights, in line with PDPL and the GDPR.

6. Security

We use encryption in transit and at rest, hashed passwords, role-based access, and audit logging. See our Security page for details.

7. Cookies & similar tech

We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and a small set of analytics cookies. You can clear them in your browser at any time.

8. Changes

Material changes to this policy will be announced via email or in-app notice.
